Organization Overview:
The Global Supply Chain Excellence organization is dedicated to standardizing business processes by focusing on lean methodologies and master data management. We collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including sites/networks, Manufacturing & Quality (M&Q) IT, and HR business partners, to achieve our goals.
Responsibilities:
Manufacturing and Quality Organizational:
- Support the design, development, and implementation of a robust data governance framework for M&Q data domains and sub-domains.
- Ensure the framework maintains alignment with the overall organizational strategy.
- Enact and enforce foundational governance policies and procedures across the sub-domain landscape.
- Support data quality and data integrity business process creation and deployment.
- Lead several data domain leadership and working groups to deploy standardization across key domains and sub-domains.
Global Supply Chain & Manufacturing Strategy Functional:
- Support the development and execution of the data management strategy and collaborate with key stakeholders to support target state data processes and architecture.
- Align domain/sub-domain leadership groups with the data quality scorecard and Key Process Indicators (KPI)s to ensure the efficacy of master data management.
- Drive coordination and collaboration with IT stakeholders regarding changes to master data structure, incorporation of new data elements, and retirement of data objects initiated by supply chain stakeholders within the individual data groups.
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement programs at the sub-domain leadership group level in combination with IT stakeholders for process ownership in line with Master Data management standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Represent Supply Chain in data as product initiatives, such as SITE data product, and integrate data readiness into all activities.
- Ensure domain/sub-domain leadership and stewardship groups’ procedures for reviewing and maintaining data are compliant with internal and external regulations and optimize typical Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system functionality.
- Establish risk mitigation strategies for data-related issues at the domain/sub-domain leadership group level.
Leadership:
- Lead all assigned domain/sub-domain teams, including group functionality, activities, stakeholder collaboration, and hold the team accountable for output and timelines.
- Collaborate with domain/sub-domain data as product IT stakeholders to ensure ongoing data fidelity, accessibility, and implement risk mitigation strategies for data issues.
Basic Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, IT, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of in-depth experience with M&Q data domains.
Additional Preferences:
- Experience with master data governance and data analysis.
- Membership in either DAMA, EDM Council, or DGPO.
- Certified Data Professional (either DAMA (DMBOKII) or EDM Council certification).
- Understanding of pharmaceutical data standards like ISO IDMP.
- Excellence in global program and project management.
- Adept at networking and building strong professional relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, with the capacity to work in coordination with different functions.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Lean/Six Sigma experience.
- SAP experience.
