Job Description

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Professional Scientific Services, LLC (Eurofins PSS) is searching for a Financial Business Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for forecasting, generation of customer billing/invoicing, internal reporting of key performance indicators, customer contract maintenance for renewals and pricing changes, customer account reconciliations and collections efforts with assigned accounts.

Financial Business Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collaborate with operational teams to develop and maintain rolling forecast. Leverage rolling forecast to assist in preparation of annual budget submission(s).
  • Assist with pricing calculations and notification of changes to clients.
  • Assists with identifying and standardizing operational financial and non-financial related items for teams to be used in daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly analysis.
  • Develop and provide reporting method of key performance indicators to the leadership through the use of Microsoft Power BI.
  • Accurately and efficiently perform project billing/invoicing on a bi-weekly basis for assigned client accounts.
  • Monitor and provide leadership updates on client spend versus contract/purchase orders.
  • Manage contract storage and maintenance. Maintain contract storage, oversee renewal cycle and summary of key terms to ensure contract compliance.
  • Coordinate month-end close financial deliverables required for financial reporting and maintain tuition reimbursement records and reporting.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and review overdue customer balances to perform collections as needed through client contacts and project leadership both verbally and through written communication.
  • Perform periodic compliance and/or finance audits.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements when appropriate.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would posses:

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and attention to detail, high energy and organization and project management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
  • Comfortable with dealing with numbers and processing of financial information
  • Must be able to prioritize and plan work efficiently to meet deadlines and work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Motivated, self-starter that multi-tasks, manages simultaneous projects and maximizes outputs through individual and collective collaboration to meet all deliverables.
  • Experience in making reports within Microsoft Power BI preferred

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years similar experience and bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business administration or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college or related major).
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
