Job Description
Eurofins PSS seeks an Equipment Coordination Technician to support our client’s Department of Analytical Research and Development in their Rahway, NJ facility. In this position, you will work with the metrology and equipment maintenance team within analytical sciences laboratory to support cGMP operations.
The responsibilities of the candidate include but are not limited to:
- Supporting instrument calibrations including balances
- Filing documents consistent with cGMP record keeping
- Maintaining inventory of laboratory instruments, supplies and reagents
- Coordinating instrument repairs with vendors
- Assuring safety equipment is operational including eye-wash stations and safety showers
- Liaises closely with cross-functional teams to support compliance activities.
- Carries out all assignments to the standards of efficiency, innovation, accuracy and safety in accordance with applicable requirements.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills,
- Experience supporting analytical laboratory equipment including but not limited to balances, calibration weights, pH meters, Liquid Chromatographs (LCs) and Gas Chromataographs (GCs)
Experience minimum requirements:
- At least two years’ experience working in a cGMP environment,
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information
This position is Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with overtime as needed and the potential for some off shift hours as dependent on project. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rahway, NJ are encouraged to apply
