Job Description
In a nutshell
As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for deploying builds across various environments, onboarding new environments, and handling transversal projects. You will play a key role in managing risks, resolving issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality, and ensuring timely deployments.
Your role
- Your role will require maintaining the release schedule for all core services, aligning with key partners and vendors, and coordinating release content based on service requests, third-party applications, and operating system updates.
- You will be responsible for communicating project plans, commitments, and changes, including QA plans and scope changes.
- Your role will also include conducting release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business Go/No-Go reviews with stakeholders. Additionally, you will produce deployment documentation, run books, and implementation plans, and participate in CAB meetings to present production changes.
- Leading and coordinating Go-Live activities, executing deployment plans, and maintaining checklists will be a crucial part of your responsibilities.
- You will be responsible for generating weekly release reports and improving the release process by documenting issues and developing plans for enhancement, including automation recommendations.
- Your ability to interact with individuals across various hierarchical levels will be essential in ensuring smooth project execution.

Qualifications
Are you our kind of extraordinary?
- To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CD/CI) pipelines, along with a good grasp of cloud deployment, preferably within an Azure environment.
- Experience with Agile practices is highly valued. Familiarity with deployment tools such as Octopus, as well as knowledge of MS Project and Excel-Macros, will be beneficial.
- Experience in document management for audit compliance processes is an advantage.
- You should have three to four years of relevant experience in release and deployment management, with demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and tasks efficiently.
- Strong leadership, analytical skills, troubleshooting capabilities, and organizational abilities are essential for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Your technical expertise should include proficiency with Windows platforms, MSSQL databases, and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
- You should have experience working in an MS Azure cloud environment and familiarity with CI and build deployment tools such as Octopus Deploy.
- Knowledge of version control tools like Azure DevOps and monitoring tools like Grafana will be beneficial.
