The QC and Validation team is responsible for quality control testing our antibody products in a variety of scientific applications. The role of this position is to perform ELISA and gel electrophoresis techniques to ensure our products meet validation standards that are consistent with our commitments to quality products and customer care.

What You Will Do

  • Perform ELISA and gel electrophoresis for QC testing of antibody products following established SOPs.
  • Analyze information and data in production records to define necessary quality testing procedures.
  • Manage and execute the queue for retesting of conjugated products.
  • Interpret ELISA data and determine product conformity.
  • Prepare technical reports as needed.
  • Coat plates for ELISA kit production.
  • Provide technical support to customer service as needed.
  • Ensure laboratory is well stocked and resourced.
  • Perform other various tasks as assigned by management, which may not be listed above.

Who You Are & What You Bring

Educational and experiential background:

  • Associate degree or higher in relevant scientific field—biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or immunology.
  • 2+ years of lab experience.
  • Experience in the following areas preferred:
    • ELISA- direct, indirect, sandwich
    • Gel electrophoresis methods
    • Interpretation and troubleshooting ELISA
    • Pipetting proficiency
    • Buffer and reagent preparation
    • Laboratory math, calculating and performing dilutions
    • SoftMax Pro Software, Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Meticulous and detail oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and quickly learn new concepts, techniques, and tasks.
  • Must be able to work effectively both as part of a team as well as individually.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior colleagues, lab personnel and customers.
