The Role
We are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner to join our Commercial Supply Chain team at Genmab.
The role will support the commercial as well as the clinical supply chains in the CMC department. Main focus will be planning and execution of CMO production activities towards the clinical supply. Besides the operational day-to-day activities, the role will support building up a GxP compliant supply chain planning infrastructure. You will in corporation with key stakeholders (Commercial Organization and Project Managers) develop and maintain production plans for contract manufacturing.
You will be joining the Commercial Supply Chain team reporting to Associate Director, Commercial Supply Chain. The team is responsible for Genmab’s global supply chain activities.
The team works in collaboration with the rest of the organization in a biotech innovative powerhouse with a 2030 vision of developing knock-your-socks-off “KYSO” antibody medicines to fundamentally transform the lives of people with cancer and other serious diseases.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:
- Oversee daily supply chain activities for international markets and CMC projects which encompasses: Inter/Intra Company Order management, Replenishment of commercial inventories, inventory planning, and forecasting.
- Coordination of production planning and manufacturing activities for commercial and clinical products across the supply chain. The supply chain covers Biological Intermediates, Drug substance, Drug filling and commercial label and pack for US, EU, and Japan.
- Act as Superuser of our ERP system SAP S/4HANA for planning and production execution.
- Work with Quality Assurance to maintain GxP compliance throughout the supply chain network including exceptions handling – Investigate exceptions, determine root causes, implement CAPAs and drive closure.
- Support supply chain risk management, including identifying potential disruptions and developing mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Participate in audits and inspections by providing supply chain documentation and demonstrating compliance practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within planning processes, tools, and systems to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide supply chain input for CMC project teams and support new product introductions by ensuring manufacturing readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industries.
- Advanced user of ERP systems, SAP S/4HANA, with hands-on experience in supply planning modules.
- Skilled in data analysis and forecasting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or other planning systems).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with QA, RA, CMC, Finance and Manufacturing
