About ProBio

ProBio proactively provides end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers. ProBio’s total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. In terms of plasmid service, ProBio supports the most clinical approvals for CGT drugs including mRNA vaccines, CAR-T in China. It is also the first GMP manufacturing platform to provide in vitro transcription (IVT) template linearized plasmids for mRNA vaccines and has supported several mRNA vaccine global enterprises to obtain clinical approvals. In terms of viral vector service, ProBio has a stable and high-yield viral vector platform.

Genscript is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join the Finance Department in Piscataway, NJ.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the integrity of financial records
  • Preparing financial accounts for monthly review. Responsible for monthly closing, including bank reconciliations and review credit card reconciliations for accuracy and timely.
  • Managing company cash flow and bank balances.
  • Prepare periodical financial analysis report in an accurate and timely manner, to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place.
  • Preparing and managing annual audits follows internal policies, financial law and regulations. Assist in the completion of internal and external audit.
  • Communicate and response to external entities for accounting, tax and credit related issues.
  • Other accounting tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, financial management, or similar. Master is a plus.
  • At least three years of experience working as an accountant in US corporation.
  • Excellent understanding of best financial and accounting practices.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications with excellent of Excel skill.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting software: QuickBooks, ERP system - SAP is preferred or other similar accounting system.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good team spirit, strong communication skill and service oriented.
  • Must be fluent in English and Mandarin.
