Role Overview

You will take ownership in delivering sales excellence activities for Ingenuity (The herd monitoring and management solution to improve herd health, well-being and reproductive performance.) across GB but also specifically for the Northern/Southern region.

You will have line management responsibility for the Ingenuity Hypercare Specialist as well as the other Ingenuity Sales & Support Specialist.

You will support the implementation of our sales strategies and processes to support business growth.

You will drive sales effectiveness to support Ingenuity and Genetics revenue growth within dedicated region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Require specialised depth and/or breadth of expertise
  • Interpret internal or external business issues and recommends best practices
  • Solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
  • Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
  • Due to specialised knowledge, typically leads teams/projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
  • Lead others to solve complex problems; use sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions
  • Communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view
  • Spend 50% of your time travelling within a dedicated region with occasionaly travel to the wider GB and NI regions
  • Regularly monitor Ingenuity systems with a pro-active approach


  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a similar role where you can demonstrate proven experience in sales excellence and operational analytics or management consultant role
  • Proven advanced proficiency with MS Office suite of tools especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience in using CRM tools
  • Implementation of technology solutions on dairy farms
  • High accountability – commitment in delivering results and taking decisions in your area of responsibilities
  • Results focused – good track record in consistent delivery of results in previous positions
  • Collaboration skills – make things happen even without the formal line of responsibility
  • Change management – energized by a change challenge, having the tenacity and perseverance to drive change through
  • Self-motivated, proactive and goal oriented
  • People Management experience
