To achieve this goal, Kite BU in Gilead Sciences Japan is in charge of Kite business in Japan.
Gilead Sciences Japan is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated professional capable of working effectively in a cross-functional team environment. The successful candidate will assume a full- time employment in the Kite Business Unit and report to the Product Management Brand Lead in Tokyo.
In this Kite Marketing, Opinion Leader Liaison, (Senior) Manager role, s/he will play a key role in driving the marketing tactics implementation for Yescarta which is the product for Hematology cancer and future potential indications and/or products. s/he ’ll be providing insights gained from opinion leaders and partnering with Brand managers, Sales, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations and Public Affairs to drive the implementation of integrated commercialization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish & maintain relationships with opinion leaders and stakeholders at a local, regional, and national level
• Oversee the effective communications process and obtain feedback and advice from key medical and scientific experts and relevant stakeholders
• Provide inputs to the launch strategy planning for Kite products
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement tactics
• Engage and influence at senior cross functional levels within and above country
• Identify actionable insights based on the feedback from opinion leaders and ensure that the product / brand addresses unmet need areas
• Collaborate with Sales Team to ensure the roll-out/ implementation of strategy
Requirement (Education, Knowledge, Experience, Competencies and Skills)
• Must have deep experience in pharmaceutical industry playing customer facing role at least around 10 years
• Must have experience in engaging opinion leaders in pharmaceutical industry
• Marketing or Commercial excellence experience is not mandatory but a strong plus
• Experience in Oncology especially for Hematology area is required.
• Excellent internal and external communication skill
• Strong analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and interpret complex issues and provide appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areas
• Experience in people management is not mandatory but a strong plus
• Experience working with internal cross functional teams
• Experience working with multiple external key stakeholders including Medical Societies, Patients and PAGs, Diagnostics companies etc
• Familiar with current promotion code in Japan
• Strong resilience, abstract thinking, problem solving ability
• Higher post graduate qualification eg. MBA or other advanced business degree is preferred
• Fluency in Japanese is mandatory and business-level English is preferred.
