Assistant Financial Controller

As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will be expected to provide Financial Reporting support to the Financial Controller in the Controllership space. In this role, your focuses will be (i) supporting the financial reporting activities and financial statement preparation for the assigned markets, (ii) gathering financial forecast information from various sources and provide insightful analysis to facilitate timely managerial decisions in accordance with Corporate guidelines; and (iii) being agile in managing ad hoc activities whenever required.

Contribute to the reporting of financial results of the market including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.
Perform analysis for Sales, Gross to Net, Operating Expenses, Margins and Profitability, review financial information against historical run rates and future growth plans.
Participate and contribute into financial review meetings with Finance Director.
Ensure entities results are fully compliant with all the relevant accounting standards/ policies, internal financial control framework, current best practices, and any other regulations.
Deliver insights to the Division in key risk areas, growth and performance making recommendations, continuous improvements and problem resolutions as required.
Supporting financial audits and taxes submissions.
Collaborate with stakeholders and other functions (e.g. Business leads, P2P, O2C, Stat & Tax etc.) to ensure successful financial operations.
Other Controllership activities as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Accounting degree or equivalent qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
Min. 6 years of experience in Finance controlling / finance business partnering / planning & forecasting.
Strong expertise in accounting principles and internal control framework.
Experience of working with accounting systems e.g. SAP, Cadency, Bison, Vista etc.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organization skills.
Agility in delivering activities with quality within the given timeframe.
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and continuous improvement mindset
