Logistic Operations Analyst - Fixed term contract - 12 months

In this role you will be responsible for the day to day operational management and execution of Pharma Logistics’ Operations services into and out of the designated region (within EMEA). You will cooperate closely with outsourced Logistics Control Centre (4PL) & Third Party Logistic (3PL) providers to ensure control over movement of raw, semi-finished and finished-pack materials.

Our team ensures on-time and cost-effective delivery of product to our customer and that GSK meets the highest level of global compliance for cross border trade within the supply chain activities.

In this role you will…

  • Provide operational leadership to the 3PL to ensure timely delivery of products (site to market and site to site).

  • Manage the operational interface between the 3PL and the GSK business (sites, markets), creating effective relationships to enable 3PL to operate successfully.

  • Be responsible for the escalated issue resolution process where not resolvable by the 3PL, providing consistent interface with markets and sites in an operational context.

  • Ensure appropriate communication to sites and customers in case of events impacting the distribution chain.

  • Be responsible for ensuring the 3PL operations adhere to GSK Quality Management system, GxP and financial requirements.

  • Collaborate with Operation managers across other areas and/or regions to share and drive operational best practice.

  • Drive short-term (0-3 months) service improvement initiatives.

  • Manage day-to-day operational Compliance issues.

  • Support Customs related activities to ensure compliant with Duty Management Programmes, ensuring sites are audit ready for any Customs inspections.

  • Support the process to ensure that GSK comply with all Export Controls and Sanctions Regulations.

  • Collaborate with New Business & Divestments to ensure that licensing and cross border regulatory requirements are known for first shipments of new products, in-license and merger/acquisition deals.

  • Use the Pharma Logistics Risk Register to record risks to GSK business and actions plans to address them.

Why you?

Qualifications & Skills:

  • University degree (preferably MA in Logistic)

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in Logistic (preferably international logistics operations)

  • Knowledge of external logistics environment and cross-border regulations

  • Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in performance management of Third Party Logistic provider

  • Ability to act decisively and work under time pressure
