Education required: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Science, Technology (e.g, industrial pharmacy, biology, chemistry, bioengineering, business engineering, electro-mechanical engineering maintenance engineering; biochemistry, biological or life Science, biomedical sciences, microbiology, pharmaceutical science, process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical science, engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, pharmacy, data science, computer science, supply chain). Graduation by August 2025 to start from September 2025

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

What will you do?

As an Engineering graduate, you will develop knowledge and experience in the following:

  • How working seeds together with other raw materials are transformed into a vaccines product via manufacturing processes such as fermentation, purification, conjugation and adsorption
  • Application of engineering principles in troubleshooting issues in manufacturing equipment/process, including equipment such as chromatography skid/column, ultrafiltration skid/column, isolator, automated washing machines, autoclaves, etc.
  • Application of critical thinking skills and DMAIC, a data-driven technique to solve problems, improve efficiency in manufacturing process/operations, and consistently fulfill product quality requirements
  • Understanding and use of DeltaV automation platform as well as other platforms to aid troubleshooting, problem solving and process performance monitoring
  • Developing work instructions to execute a safe, sustainable and efficient manufacturing process to deliver a good quality product
  • Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to improve manufacturing process, operational work flows and work instructions, to achieve gains in productivity, deliver a good quality product and drive sustainability efforts
  • Project management and change management skills relating to various types of changes including but not limited to new equipment introduction/upgrade, infrastructure changes, continuous improvement, CAPA implementations
  • Financial awareness including but not limited to CAPEX budget management, depreciation, overhead cost improvement
  • Application of hazard identification and risk assessment tools to understand and improve process and machinery safety

  • A relevant engineering degree
  • A keen interest in application of engineering principles and critical thinking skills to improve manufacturing process, quality and sustainability in manufacturing
  • A curious mind with a desire to grow by continuous learning and applying skills and knowledge, through problem solving and continuous improvement efforts
  • Empathy and good listening skills, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact to people’s lives through high-quality work
  • Self-motivated, proactive and positive, with good communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, with a good logical grasp of facts and dataorganized, process-driven, imaginative but pragmatic
