Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Engineering discipline with a focus in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or Chemistry

Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

What will you do?

• To support in executing lean lab identified projects (lab rejuvenation, micro lab standard work, reduced testing, online testing program etc) to achieve productivity gain.

• To deploy GPS 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize and Sustain) standard for the whole lab and obtained 5S certification for 1 identified zone.

• To review and revamp Lab Safety Program including safety GEMBA requirement, RA program, new chemical introduction standard work. And with governance and performance management.

What will you learn?

• Lean Lab Initiatives - removal of waste, process flow review and application of online application in order to gain lab productivity and efficiency.

• 5S/Zoning roll up in the lab and establish standard work to obtain GPS Maturity.

• Establish robust Lab Safety Program and Governance to be aligned to SLE expectations.
