We are currently looking for a Finance Partner to join our External Manufacturing Team. In this role, you’ll support two of the External Manufacturing Small Molecules markets – Zejula and International, by managing all financial aspects of the business in relation to actual performance, planning, forecast as well as COGS setting. You will own the reporting for mentioned areas and work closely with the GSC Operations, SMAS team, Procurement, Quality, Technical and Manufacturing Teams to ensure finance decisions are made properly and financial systems accurately reflect the performance. Partner with the Supply Team to ensure Risks & Opportunities are timely flagged

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Responsible for planning & forecasting accuracy on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis; work closely with SMAS, CRC and Supply team to ensure all internal reporting required meets deadlines (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually and ad hoc) and ensure appropriate month-end processes and controls are followed

  • Develop actionable insight based on actual performance, forecasts and modelling to shape the direction of the business, as well as assess business risks and opportunities and summarize them for senior management evaluation; support the annual planning and forecasting cycle; Challenge plans and forecasts to ensure they are supported by robust and appropriate drivers

  • Responsible for ensuring key monthly analytical review controls are performed and reasons for significant variances are understood and documented; investigate actual gaps to plan/forecast and make clear recommendations where needed

  • Responsible for all cost control across the Regions including:

- Ensure clear accountabilities for all OPEX / CAPEX / 3RD Party Material Spend at Standard, PPV, Quality and Yield variances

- Ensure accurate month end close for all cost centers, including accruals

- Management of cross charges between entities and management allocation

- Support Operations team throughout the Capital Investment process

  • Lead Standard COGS Setting by partnering with relevant functional areas; document all assumptions and costs included as part of the Standard Setting Process

  • Provide guidance and ensure smooth transition of NPIs (New Product Introductions) into BAU and provide support for Global projects/initiatives as appropriate

  • Prepare presentations and provide commentary for the Finance Review Meetings with LT member

  • Degree & internationally recognized accounting/finance qualification

  • Finance experience, including controllership and finance partnering

  • Shown managerial experience in matrix environment, working across multiple teams, handling complexity, track record of delivery against objectives

  • Ability to influence senior partners and challenge based on expertise and personal credibility

  • Strong analytical, investment appraisal and problem-solving skills

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • MBA, preferably in Management, Finance or Accounting.

  • Strong Analytics training or experience

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Experience managing or working with a global team and global stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and compare complex data from multiple sources

  • Demonstrated ability to determine and communicate the legal, financial and ethical interpretation of industry regulated principles
