GSK is the leading pharmaceutical company within HIV, with a strong portfolio. We are looking for a healthcare professional with strong experience within the pharma industry to join our growing HIV team. You will be working in a cross-functional team, alongside colleagues with high motivation and a strong drive to help patients. You will be responsible for a dynamic portfolio of treatments. There is a strong level of empowerment and self-management, of course with relevant support. You will report to the Country Medical Director.
In this role you will…
- Be the scientific expert in HIV and act as the key interface between GSK and the medical community. Maintain a detailed understanding and a deep appreciation of the science and evidence for the treatment options in the therapy area
- Present scientific findings and provide medical education to healthcare professionals. On request answer scientific and medical questions related to our treatments
- Support clinical development activities by partnering with clinical operations in feasibility processes identifying sites for clinical trials in Denmark, being the scientific and medical experts in study initiating activities and support study execution as needed
- Review and approve marketing materials in line with local regulations and ensuring the material is factual, balanced and data presented in line with regulatory and international guidelines
- Identify, develop and follow-up of medical projects and evidence generation activities in collaboration with external experts and internal partners
- Serve as a medical expert in cross-functional teams, offering medical and scientific trainings as well as insights to strategies in medical affairs, marketing, and commercial initiatives
Why you?
Qualifications & Skills:
- MPharm or MD
- 3+ years in similar position from clinical or pharma
- Fluent in Danish and business level English, speaking and writing
- Ability to travel for external/internal events up to 20 days per year
Preferred:
- Experience from relevant therapy area
- Is a proactive team player with the ability to produce results and solutions through effective planning
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to represent GSK impactfully during medical, scientific and public meetings
- The ability to quickly acquire specific and detailed knowledge and translate it into strategic plans and medical activities.
- Strong scientific/analytical and problem-solving skills
