Job Summary:

Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer. Your priorities are building and sustaining positive relationships with internal customers and ensuring the successful development of the course curriculum for various businesses within GSK.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review and understand the subject matter through the materials provided.

• Content gathering from Subject Matter Experts by using various proceedings.

• Analyse training needs and propose the directions that learning solution should take.

• Develop learning solutions (e-Learning, Workshops, Courses, learning programs).

• Design and develop end-to-end learning solutions - including high level and detailed level designs - that address the business' needs and priorities.

• Develop course agendas, decides how best to deliver the course, and design exercises, simulations and KPI factors in blended learning mode.

• Review deliverables for completeness, compliance with standards, and consistency with the detailed design prior to sending to manager and stakeholders for review.

• Collaborate with peers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) via professional communication channels to build relationships.

• Test content across a range of browsers and devices to detect issues and to quickly fix them.

• Support and apply the training solutions development process (Alpha, Beta, Pilot, Go Live).

• Create learning technology solutions using authoring tools.

• Create new learning content in collaboration with trainers and subject matter experts.

• Be a learning "guru", someone who always comes up with cutting edge learning solutions.

• Assist with/ participate in course test activities such as cycle testing using test scripts or instructions, properly document problems for issue resolution.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Candidates must have a deep and proven understanding of learning & development processes and the ability to managing large, complex projects.

• Experience working cross-functionally with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), multiple teams in a product cantered environment at higher level.

• Awareness of latest L&D theories, frameworks, models and evaluation protocols that align with the needs of the digital learner. And deeply familiar with SCORM, ADDIE model, Blooms Taxonomy, etc.

• Demonstrated analytical skills to draw insights from data.

• Experience with web-based course management tools (such as Success Factors, Blackboard, Course Plus or other LMS) and online conferencing software such as MS Teams, WebEx.

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, Camtasia, and other industry standard learning authoring tools.

Minimum Qualifications: Education: Preferably, a degree or Master’s in education, Behavioural Science, or Mass Communications domains. Minimum Experience for Consideration: 8+ years working experience with creating learning experiences for a reputed global company.
