As a Logistics & Production Planning Manager, you will conduct and transact Customer Service and Logistics processes for the supply of products inbound to the Local Operating Company (LOC) and outbound to its first trade customers in to achieve optimal Customer Service levels.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Execute the outbound Customer Service and order management to first trade customer including order placement, invoicing, and customer complaints processes
  • Ensure the integrity of material master and customer data (logistics movements and order/invoice processing) within the local systems used
  • Inform distributors/customers and Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) of planned inbound supply and instruct of stock shortages or stock-outs
  • Identify stock-at-risk due to shelf-life or saleable date expiration
  • Manage any required product returns to site
  • Execute logistics activities in compliance with GSK Quality and EHS standards
  • Liaise between the multiple Supply Chain Planning (SCP) teams and the LOC to consolidate and implement required actions on stock-at-risk including implementation of write-off across required functions
  • Manage local processes and liaise with LSPs, GSK Regulatory, and local authorities to manage logistics activities for pack changes, discontinuations, first-time new product importation, free samples, clinical trial deliveries, and tender samples etc
  • Initiate internal processes to flag missing, out-of-spec, or damaged inbound stock and support through investigations with LSP/LOC/SCP
  • Liaise with central move product functions (e.g. control tower, site dispatch teams) to ensure complete documentation to support inbound flow of product
  • Coordination and execution of ad-hoc and or regular subcontract packing, re-work, conversion and combination of packs and ensure visibility of inventory to Supply Chain throughout repacking process

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • High school diploma
  • 3 or more years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Customer Service operation
  • Experience managing third party logistics providers
  • Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
  • Good interpersonal skills and interface with all level of staffs internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of Logistics (inbound freight/Customs/Warehouse/Road Distribution and planning activities)
