The Senior Data Business Partner is responsible for overseeing the successful planning and execution of data migration processes aligned to the Business Partner team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all data is accurately migrated following the DTMS guidance and RMA processes, in a timely and secure manner to RMA eArchive. A pivotal role between the Business Partner team, the Operations team and eArchive BSO having an in depth understanding of its functionality. You will take the lead on improving the ways we support the customer to extract, validate, clean and migrate data.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career, these responsibilities include some of the following,

  • To support the Business Partners in partnering with the business units to understand their record requirements and business challenges when technology needs are aligned to archiving.

  • Perform analysis activities to define archiving and records management needs, supporting both regulated and non-regulated business areas.

  • Collaborate with Tech, eArchive BSO and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Establish and improve migration (archiving) practices, create and implement processes and tools to ‘bridge’ gap between Tech and the business.

  • Ensure data quality and integrity by establishing data validation and cleansing processes.

  • Monitor the progress of data migration activities and provide regular updates.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the data migration process.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to data migration procedures and protocols.

  • Provide training and support to users on new systems and data access.

  • Provide guidance and learning to BP team to better understand the Data Migration process.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in data migration, data management, or a similar role.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.

  • Experience and in-depth knowledge in records management life cycle, electronic records, or information management in a regulated industry e.g., pharma or financial services.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Industry-specific compliance and regulatory awareness

  • Knowledge of data migration tools and methodologies.

  • Experience in navigating decisions and/or execution through multiple parties in major, matrixed organisations.

  • Comprehensive understanding of how applications, data, and technology systems interact and function, and the ability to collaborate with IT teams and technical specialists to facilitate the archiving process.

  • Experience facilitating the application of records retention policies and schedules throughout a record's lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience with cloud-based data storage and migration solutions.

  • Familiarity with data security and compliance regulations.

  • Certification in project management or data management.
