For our team in Warsaw, we are looking for a Medical Advisor - Hematology/ Oncology

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Represent Management during field interactions with Health Care Professionals and support key opinion leader and advocate relationship development and maintenance within the region
  • Engage in one-on-one scientific dialogue with external experts around GSK’s oncology medicines
  • Collaborate with cross- functional team (e.g. sales, marketing, market access, etc.) to ensure that strategies and business plans are both patient and business focused
  • Contribute to wider business objectives by leading cross-functional projects, managing the regional budget and collaborating with matrix partners
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Operational Team
  • Provide medical review of promotional materials and other promotional activities
  • Timely disseminate important safety information to healthcare professionals if needed
  • Develop and maintain highest standard of knowledge and expertise in the oncology therapy area including competitors’ medicines data
  • Attend scientific meetings and congresses

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry medical affairs, in hematology/oncology therapy area
  • Professional medical knowledge and education background in medicine
  • Understanding of the clinical research processes
  • Experience in customer contact with physicians and other stakeholders in the health system
  • A demonstrated understanding of the Polish healthcare environment, including knowledge of health technology assessments and market access challenges
  • Understanding of Pharmaceutical ethics and governance; and a clear understanding of pharmaceutical compliance policies and procedures
  • Successful and superior influencing skills across all levels of the organization and with external collaborators
  • Very good communication skills and high negotiation skills
  • Project and process management skills
  • A good command of spoken and written English
