BUSINESS MANAGER – IL-5 PORTFOLIO
We are hiring a Business Manager within our Specialty Respiratory team, under our Specialty Business Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the marketing team.
In this role, you will optimize our respiratory portfolio strategies, prepare for new product launches, and drive performance of our existing assets. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing engaging leadership to enhance the performance and development of the team, working closely with the cross-functional team to ensure cohesive and effective execution of strategies.
In this role you will…
- Develop, optimize and lead the strategic planning and execution with the sales team for our respiratory products
- Build marketing launch plan by utilizing insights, data, and market research to set strategic direction
- Work collaboratively with the Business unit head, sales team to enhance performance, achieve targets, and embed omni-channel implementation
- Collaborate with marketing, medical, and cross-functional teams to deliver and implement strategies
- Along with Business unit head, coach the sales team to deliver account plans aligned with brand strategies
- Implement an omnichannel approach across face-to-face, digital, and multichannel touchpoints to drive a best in class customer experience
- Continuously monitor and review sales and marketing performance data, identifying trends and opportunities to drive competitiveness
- Ensure full compliance with GSK values and ways of working
Why you?
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
- University degree in a relevant field (science, medical, or commercial)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with people management or experience in leading a launch within specialty field
- Fluent in Swedish and English
- Demonstrated record of achieving results through others and developing team capabilities
- Proven effectiveness results in marketing and sales
- A team player who is skilled at leading cross functional teams
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Experience in respiratory or hospital environment
- Experience in business management and leadership positions
- Marketing experience in new product launches
