Value & Market Access Director

Your Responsibilities:
The Value & Market Access Head is responsible to develop and implement strategies to ensure that the company's products are valued appropriately by payers, healthcare providers, and patients. This involves demonstrating the economic and clinical value of the products, securing market access, and optimizing pricing and reimbursement to maximize the commercial potential and patient access to the company's therapies.
Reporting to the Cluster General Manager, this position is part of Leadership Team and will work alongside different areas of GSK to develop strategies and tactics that support broad favorable access to our portfolio.
Develop annual objectives and supporting strategies for the Business Analytics function based on overall Pharma Market Access annual objectives.
Lead the development and execution of tools, models and custom analytics capabilities supporting Market Access with a focus on contracting strategy and decisions.
Strategically create relationship and commercial opportunities with public and private institutions works across Government Affairs, Bidding, Pricing and Reimbursement.
Analyze market access trends/health policy changes and continuously map reimbursement requirements by payer type for on-market products. Anticipate access barriers and cost containment risks. Negotiate funding and price (if applicable) and support our products in reimbursement negotiations and health technology assessments.
Partner with global market access to inform product development & pricing based on customer needs. Develop launch plans for new products mapping out local coding, coverage, and payment requirements.
Consolidate planning and actions in local market access strategy & implementation plan considering mainly mid to long-term business goals.
Build strong relationships with key commercial channels, including distributors, drugstores, and pharmacies, across our diverse therapeutic areas, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s degree in health economics, Marketing, Business Management, Heath Care or equivalent.
Experience in strategic value proposition, pricing or health economics within the pharmaceutical industry.
2 years of experience in local or regional leadership positions, with a proven track record of managing Market Access organization teams.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Argentinian Healthcare systems.
Written and spoken fluency in Spanish and English.
Ability to combine strategic vision with tactical hands-on execution and a high work capacity.
Strong technical skills with prior experience in assessing and critiquing health economic models.
Excellent Highly analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to build working relations both internally and externally.
Strong Knowledge in both Specialty Care and General Medicine.
Preferred Qualifications:
MSc in health economics or equivalent preferred
Strong business and financial acumen
Strong project management skills
