GCS D&T is working on a strategic Quality transformation, under ERP Evolution program, to extend LabWare LIMS, the system that is already in use in multiple GSK sites, for the following QC Processes driving harmonization and simplification:

  • Stability management
  • Environment Monitoring (planning, sample collection)
  • Sample traceability
  • And Master Data simplification

This role will contribute to the technical implementation and well as required upgrade for LabWare LIMS for several key areas, including, but not limited to – infrastructure, installation of LIMS Mobile and Web solutions, new interfaces, and other LIMS component.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Together with LES Tech Team – you will be responsible to deliver LabWare LIMS new scope, including infrastructure setup, installation, and configuration of Mobile and Web solutions, and integration with new interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the LabWare LIMS implementation, including installation guides, configuration documents, access management, DRP, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., Data Integrity, GxP, FDA, EMA) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical training to L2/L3 and support to end-users during the hypercare period, ensuring they can effectively utilize the LabWare LIMS system.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the LabWare LIMS system during and post-implementation, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary enhancements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in laboratory informatics, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions into the LabWare LIMS implementation.
  • Provide input to the product and PMO teams to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to address any issues that may arise during the implementation of the LabWare LIMS solution.
  • Act as a subject matter technical expert for LabWare LIMS, providing guidance and expertise to team members and stakeholders as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Considerable experience in technical management, with a focus on LIMS system, Cloud and Mobile solutions.
  • Understanding of laboratory workflows, processes, and technologies as well as technical skills related to IT / OT, connectivity, edge and cloud.
  • Proven experience in defining and managing technical products, particularly related to governance, security, and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to navigate organizational processes to obtain approvals.
  • Experience with Citrix virtualization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with development and test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and other development tools.
