Our team plays a crucial role within GSK Spain organization, focusing on generating robust evidence to support the value of our innovative products. Positioned within the Medical Affairs department, our team collaborates across Therapeutic Areas (TAs) closely with various internal stakeholders including Market Access and Commercial functions to ensure the successful delivery of evidence that meets patient, physician but also regulatory and payer requirements.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Biostatistician Trainee to join our team. In this role, you will assist in providing statistical support for a variety of projects, including clinical trials, observational studies, pots-hoc analysis and scientific publications. Under the team guidance, you will apply statistical methods to real-world data and gain valuable experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate is a motivated student with a strong foundation in biostatistics and a keen interest in clinical research.

Responsabilities:

  • Develop and write code for statistical analyses of clinical trial and observational study data.
  • Collaborate with the data generation team and other cross-functional team members in terms of interpretation of study results and suggesting alternative statistical approaches to solve scientific questions.
  • Ensure all statistical analyses comply with relevant guidelines and standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on data analysis and interpretation

Qualifications/skills

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and their application to clinical research.
  • Proficiency in statistical software tools (R).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Interest in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
