FP&A Analyst - Vacation Relief Worker.
Location: Oslo, Norway
Employment Type: Temporary (Vacation Relief) 20-25 working hours per week.
About the Role
We are looking for a Vacation Relief Worker to support our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team during the financial planning period. This temporary role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset and financial acumen who can assist in ensuring smooth operations during Financial Planning Period. The role provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and reporting within a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
The main focus of this role is to support the FP&A team during the financial planning phase by assisting with key activities, including:
- Data Collection & Preparation – Gather, validate, and organize financial data needed for budgeting and forecasting.
- Financial Reporting Support – Assist in preparing financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Forecasting Assistance – Support the update and maintenance of financial forecasts by inputting data and ensuring accuracy.
- Budget Consolidation – Help compile and structure budget submissions from different business units.
- Scenario Analysis – Assist in running basic financial models and sensitivity analyses to support decision-making.
- Process Documentation – Maintain and update financial planning process documentation to ensure continuity.
- Stakeholder Coordination – Liaise with different departments to collect required financial inputs and ensure timely submissions.
- System & Tool Support – Work with financial planning tools and Excel models to assist in data entry and analysis.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis – Support the FP&A team with additional financial analysis as required.
- Benchmarking Analysis – Conduct comparative analysis of P&Ls across different markets in the NW region, identifying trends, variances, and best practices to support financial decision-making.

To qualify for this position, you must be:
- Background in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (students or recent graduates are welcome to apply).
- Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial planning tools and AI
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a structured and organized manner.
