Hologic-Diagenode, the leader in the field of epigenetics, provides full solutions for chromatin profiling and DNA methylation research. Our products include sonication instruments, kits for chromatin immunoprecipitation and DNA methylation analysis, and high-quality antibodies. We also provide Epigenomic Services to support epigenetics-related discoveries, mechanisms of action, transgenerational studies, epigenetic biomarker identification, including cancer biomarkers and functional epigenomics. Our goal is to make epigenetic research accessible and to ensure consistent data in every experiment.

Founded in 2003, Hologic-Diagenode is headquartered in Liège (Belgium), with a subsidiary in the US Denville (NJ).

For its Epigenetics division, Hologic-Diagenode is looking for a highly motivated APAC Sales Manager to join the team. The APAC Sales Manager will work with the Global Sales and Marketing Manager to develop, achieve and maintain business growth and market share through exceptional sales execution for the Life Sciences division and within the Asia-Pacific geographical area.

Mission

Review, manage and develop the portfolio of distributors of Hologic Diagenode’s equipment, kits and services in Epigenetics.

Job description

  • Manage, review & adapt all contracts with distributors & sub-distributors in APAC. Work with Hologic Diagenode Management and Hologic legal experts to update ongoing contracts with Hologic requirements.
  • Investigate new distribution & sub-distribution possibilities and partnerships to enhance worldwide sales.
  • Negotiate distributors / sub-distributors margin & propose shared marketing actions, training, workshops & conferences to ensure proper knowledge and promotion of our catalog of technology.
  • Define market model, build a Sales & Marketing strategy, and a 5-year Business Development plan for all APAC major countries: China & Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, India, Korea and Australia.
  • Map out potential emerging markets and drive a sales strategy for enhanced promotion of Hologic Diagenode solutions.
  • Manage, analyze, and forecast revenue performance for all countries in APAC.
  • Drive our new technology’s introduction to distributors / sub-distributors and ensure training & special shared marketing actions.
  • Increase promotion of Hologic Diagenode’s services for the Biopharma industry.
  • Work with R&D, Production, Engineering, Bio-Informatic, Services and Logistic teams to ensure proper product delivery and usage, service implementation, and all related after sales services and distributor support for customers inquiry.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales and distributor management experience
  • Higher scientific education degree / Life Sciences degree in genetics is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Proven ability to motivate and direct sales team to meet goals and objectives through influencing representative behavior

Additional Details:

  • Valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the Company required
  • Up to 40% travel time – fluctuating with business requirements
  • Prefer someone who resides near major cities/airports

Situation

  • Based in Beijing or Shanghai, China
  • Travel: 40% of the time.
