What to Expect:

  • Responsible for Production Scheduling and Warehouse areas by ensuring that all material picking, shipping and receiving are completed on schedule. Organize, plan, and prioritize work, as well as identify and prioritize problems and drive them to resolution.
  • Coordinate and lead to long-term planning processes as well as planning resources to support production plans in the horizons of planning from 0-24 months, for the different product platforms.
  • Maintain direct communication between the corporate groups of Marketing and supply chain, in everything related to demand management and production plans. Maintain a single communication channel that allows in order to speed up the decision-making process.
  • To direct the activities of the material handlers, receiving clerks and warehouse personnel on a daily basis.
  • Ensures desired level of inventory accuracy and review inventory transactions for data integrity.
  • Conducts daily cycle count program and publishes results. Reconciles to correct data and implements corrective action.
  • Maintains inventory location accuracy as well as transaction data integrity.
  • Coordinates flow of material including shortage fills to support the Master Production Schedule and other demands as requested on a timely basis.
  • Reviews Engineering Change Orders and takes appropriate action to control configuration of products and inventory integrity.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment for Warehouse staff.
  • Employs and controls processes to support FIFO and Consignment inventory methods.
  • Inventory control, cycle counts and SOX compliance
  • Guide, direct, motivate and develop subordinate personnel through coaching and mentoring techniques.
  • Provide constant feedback and feed-forward to the areas under responsibility, ensuring that all of them are always generating and executing continuous improvement projects.

What we Expect:

  • Manage the communication between the plant of production and Corporation (marketing and sales and supply chain corporate), relating to the plans of production and changes of demand.
  • Monitor and control the processes of ERP related to the administration of the plan of production and demand
  • Implement continuous improvements to planning and production control systems seeking to optimize the use of resources.
  • Assess the impact of the changes of demand, in the plans of production and capacity
  • Implement / support projects of great impact for the factory such as: implementation of new information systems such as ERP, systems of production control, software in the area of supply chain, among others.
  • Evaluate and review subordinate performance via goal-setting and the performance review process
  • Ensure high customer levels services are kept throughout the department.

Education & Experience:

  • 5+ years of Planning and Warehouse management experience
  • College degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field
  • APICS Certification: CPIM or CSCP is preferred
  • Working Knowledge of ORACLE application preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in good inventory techniques and various inventory computer systems and applications
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and word

The annualized base salary range for this role is $75,600 to $125,900 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand..
