Job Description:

Travel (approximately 10%) domestic and/or international.
Ensure and support the development of tools, templates and processes for regional use as appropriate.
Ensure that clear goals and objectives for performance are set and understood.
Conduct timely performance reviews and appraisals by acquiring feedback on performance from Clinical Trial Managers, Project Managers and others as required.
Ensure staff always meets performance expectations and take appropriate remedial actions as required; make recommendations for promotions if appropriate.
Monitor and evaluate workload and liaise with Resource Management and the relevant Project Manager/Clinical Trial Manager as needed to ensure appropriate allocation of resources and optimal utilization and workload.
Participate in the interviewing process for internal and external candidates.
Ensure induction and orientation for new hires is conducted and assign mentor as appropriate.
Address issue escalation of findings related to the quality of performance of staff activities.
Contribute towards quality improvement and improvement in metrics.
Implement Quality Control activities as necessary and monitor required quality metrics.
Measure and improve productivity and profitability of the assigned staff.
Develop and revise and/or update, as well as implement, formal CTA training tools and presentations.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage staff and set clear goals and objectives to drive an expectation of excellence.
Develop skills, encourage growth and provide regular performance feedback.
Provide assistance and support to local and remote staff.
Identify and ensure all necessary training is provided to on an ongoing basis to optimize job performance and knowledge with particular emphasis on all relevant ICON procedures, ICH-GCP and other local regulations.
Implement personalized development plans and provide coaching and mentoring to assigned staff.
Maintain regular 1:1 communication with assigned staff.
Approve vacation time and leave requests (consulting Project Managers/Clinical Trial Managers as appropriate).
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
Significant experience in clinical trial administration or project coordination, preferably within the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry.
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail and compliance.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
