The Global Commercial Tech & Innovation Manager plays a pivotal role within our Global Commercial Operations team, focusing on:

  • Spearheading strategic projects to develop and trial new solutions, enhancing productivity
  • Building and managing AI & Automation, productivity tools & platform enhancements to support our Commercial Strategic Vision & Business Objectives.
  • Collaborate and share the innovation outcomes for scalable solutions with Commercial teams.

Reporting to the Head of Global Commercial Operations, the Global Commercial Tech & Innovation Manager is to be responsible for spearheading strategic projects aimed at developing and trialing new solutions to enhance productivity within our Commercial Operations. As initiatives matures, the leader will work with the Revenue Operation team to drive scalability.

This leader manages a global technical team focused on assessment of technology & development needs, supporting automation of processes to improve productivity, reduce risk and complexity. Additionally, this role provides insights and guidance to Commercial Leadership & GIS partners in developing technical solution, while ensuring that policies and procedures align with corporate vision.

This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a passion for innovation, a strong strategic mindset, program management skills, solid analytical capability, with the ability to collaborate across various teams and regions.

Job Responsibilities:

Commercial Ops Innovation:

  • Lead the engagement with key stakeholders, Globally and Regionally to identify, drive the development, and execution of strategic projects focused on innovation within commercial operations.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Prototype, test, and iterate on new solutions to ensure feasibility and effectiveness.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of innovation projects.
  • Analyze project outcomes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Report on the performance of strategic projects and their contributions to business goals.

Commercial Technology

  • Drive, Build and Manage Automation, the use of AI, productivity tools, platform enhancements, and automation to support Commercial Strategic Vison & Business Objectives.
  • Cultivate Automation spirit to drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Drive regional adoption of innovative tools to enable processes, programs, and deliver improved business insights and customer experience.
  • Partner closely with Regional Comm Ops leads, Global Comm Ops teams such as Revenue Operations, Service & Support, Training, Marketing teams, e-commerce, CoE for automation & AI to understand how our technology footprint can be designed to ideally systemize our operating mechanisms and processes.
  • Partner with Commercial Capability Product Owners, SAP & SFDC Leads and other GIS Functional Leads to deliver against product and service goals and business requirements.
  • Assess the value of “off the shelf” and custom solutions, within or outside SFDC ecosystem to drive efficiencies.
  • Define, build, and support the hiring plan and team structure.
  • Report against solution adoption, service levels by measuring how successful the team performs against key performance metrics.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, business operations, or project management supporting a revenue-generating organization.
  • Proven experience in leading innovative programs from concept to scale.
  • Strong understanding of digital channels and core operational platforms.
  • Strong program management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
  • Detail-oriented, motivated self-starter with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in life sciences or biotech industries is a plus.

The estimated base salary range for the Global Commercial Tech & Innovation Manager role based in the United States of America is: $126,800 - $190,200. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
