Job Description Sr. Business Process Analyst

The Senior Business Process Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify areas for process improvement, developing solutions, and leading initiatives to optimize business operations. . Additionally, this position requires a solid understanding of planning foundations and in-depth knowledge of ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain processes, to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, and documentation to understand and communicate current and future state process.
  • Proficient in data analysis, able to interpret complex data sets, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Analyze and refine requirements for delivering necessary technology services within the supply chain planning area.
  • Provide first-line support and insights for the supply planning team and cross-functional departments on troubleshooting, methodologies, and data issues related to planning tools. Translate business requests into functional requirements and coordinate with GIS (Global Information Services).
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP ECC/IBP, Oracle, JDA) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Maintain Illumina’s control standards and support audits for Plan to Deliver activities.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various organizations within Illumina, such as Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, Global Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Development, to ensure alignment and support for process improvement initiatives.


Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, process improvement, and project management.
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, or APICS CPIM/CSCP are highly desirable.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in process mapping and modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
