Senior Benefits Analyst

Remote UK or Cambridge Hub and Hybrid

As the Senior Benefits Analyst, you will implement the benefits strategy and roadmap for Continental Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CE & MEA), delivering competitive and compliant benefits programs that attract, engage, and retain talent.

To be successful in this role you will be an analytical thinker who can collaborate across multiple stakeholders, manage vendor relationships, and deliver impactful benefits initiatives. The role also offers the opportunity to provide feedback and insights to the broader team and director, contributing to future strategic planning. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and have experience delivering or managing benefits programs, with the flexibility to learn country-specific details as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the benefits strategy and roadmap for Continental Europe, Middle East, and Africa, ensuring alignment with regional priorities and business goals.
  • Recommend and develop enhancements to benefits programs based on data analysis, market trends, stakeholder & broker input, and regional priorities, ensuring initiatives are impactful and aligned with business goals.
  • Project manage the review and launch of benefits in new countries, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Lead benefit renewals for this sub-region, including vendor negotiations and data analysis, ensuring programs remain competitive, compliant, cost efficient and aligned with business needs.
  • Review broker and vendor performance regularly to ensure the organization is partnered with the best providers to meet business needs, negotiate improvements where needed, and ensure value delivery.
  • Design and execute engaging benefits communications and campaigns that promote employee understanding and utilization of programs.
  • Manage the delivery of benefits programs across allocated countries, ensuring processes are effectively executed and aligned with quality and service standards.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA Benefits Day-to-Day Process Lead, who partners with the shared services function to manage employee queries and operational processes. The role focuses on designing processes, while the execution of these processes, including handling queries and operations, is managed by the day-to-day process lead in partnership with shared services.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, country leaders, workers’ councils, payroll, procurement, finance, and legal teams, to align benefits initiatives with organizational needs and priorities and deliver seamless benefits processes and outcomes.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on program performance. Share insights, challenges, and trends to the EMEA Compensation and Benefits Director and team, supporting data-driven adjustments to future strategic planning.
  • Support the team by providing input into EMEA-wide wellbeing and engagement initiatives, while also identifying opportunities to enhance and promote these initiatives specifically for the sub region.

Preferred Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an area that would complement the role is preferred, but not essential.
  • Experience in the life sciences, biotechnology, technology, or medical device industry is beneficial, but not essential.

Preferred Experiential Background

  • Demonstrated expertise in reviewing, recommending and delivering benefits programs, with a willingness to learn country-specific details for Continental Europe, Middle East, and Africa as required.
  • Experience in benefit renewals and vendor negotiations.
  • Proven ability to recommend and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Experience in benefits benchmarking and design, including working with brokers and leveraging market data.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align benefits with organizational goals and regional priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop engaging and informative benefits communications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cultures, geographies, and stakeholder groups.
