Position Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Accounting, the Sr. Analyst, Financial Systems Governance & Projects, will be responsible for supporting the administration of accounting systems as well as providing support for mergers and acquisitions integrations and ad hoc projects within the Finance function.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the BlackLine business administration inbox, providing guidance and support to end users of the various Blackline modules.
  • Support testing procedures within BlackLine associated with quarterly releases and any procedural changes within the Accounting function.
  • Partner with the Finance Transformation Office, support unit and user acceptance testing for quarterly accounting system releases and enhancements.
  • Maintain and control SAP master data updates, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Provide administrative support to end users of the Kyriba treasury management system.
  • Assist with accounting system user access review processes.
  • Support the integration efforts of the Finance team on mergers and acquisitions.
  • Provide ad hoc support on new and existing company projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience with BlackLine is preferred
  • CPA certificate and relevant industry accounting experience is a plus
  • Experience with SAP (or equivalent ERP system) is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience (or three years and a Master’s degree); background in corporate accounting is preferred and project management and/or financial systems experience is a plus
  • Ability to effectively work within a team to expedite completion of critical projects with other functional groups
  • Must bring a process improvement mindset
  • Demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals and tight deadlines; superior attention to detail is a must
  • Must have the ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks under accelerated deadlines.
  • Must be flexible in terms of adjusting schedule to various demands driven by our dynamic business environment
  • Self-directed and able to work well and communicate effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting regulations
  • Knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002
  • Good understanding of financial processes such as Quote to Cash, Plan to Deliver, Procure to Pay, Service to Support, Plan to Report, Accounting Month End Close and Reporting, Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting, including systems utilized therein
  • Data driven; ability to leverage data to make decisions on designs and solutions, and to present out to others to guide decision making and planning
  • Collaborative and ownership mindset in solving problems and challenges as a team vs. presenting problems
  • Thorough understanding of project lifecycle with the ability to adjust and apply in a dynamic environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; MBA and/or CPA a plus

The estimated base salary range for the Sr. Analyst, Financial Systems Governance & Projects (Hybrid) role based in the United States of America is: $80,900 - $121,300. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
