Job Summary (Primary function)
We are seeking an experienced and strategic marketing manager to join the Incyte Dermatology Product Strategy team, dedicated to supporting Opzelura’s market access and patient services initiatives. In this role, you will develop and execute innovative marketing tactics to enhance Opzelura’s positioning within the dermatology market. You will play a key role in promoting access for patients, creating awareness of national and local plan coverage, and increasing utilization of patient support programs to optimize outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in pharmaceutical marketing, market and/or patient access programs, and a passion for improving patient and HCP journeys.
Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
- Partner with market access and patient services to align on the key strategic priorities across brand indications
- Develop promotional materials, presentations, and digital content that communicate the unique benefits of Opzelura’s patient services and access offerings to HCPs and patients
- Manage the Medical/Legal/Regulatory review process to optimize integration and consistency of access messages across tactics
- Serve as a liaison between commercial teams and market access functions to ensure cohesive, integrated approaches to market access and patient engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with the broader Opzelura brand team to support execution of critical projects, provide input, and align on budget utilization
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sales and Sales Training, representing the “Voice of Market Access and Patient Services” on HCP field facing communication
- Coordination with Commercial Analysis and Market Insights to incorporate program learnings and customer insights into future initiatives
- Work closely with key external stakeholders including dermatologists, advanced practice providers, office staff, professional societies, and other relevant third partner partners to obtain insights to optimize tactics
- Develop and maintain a high degree of therapeutic area knowledge
- Ensure seamless sharing of information, best practices, and lessons learned across the organization
- Perform all company business in accordance with regulations and company policies and procedures
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
BA/BS required: life sciences degree or equivalent desirable, MBA/graduate preferred
- BA/BS required: life sciences degree or equivalent desirable
- 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology marketing; market access and/or patient services experience preferred
- Experience working with external vendors on a day-to-day basis and managing projects across multiple brands/indications/audiences
- Ability to collaborate closely with agencies and other team members
- Experience developing multi-channel promotional plans for pharmaceutical or biotechnology products
- Specialty experience preferred including experience in dermatology, inflammation and autoimmunity, or allergy
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage projects autonomously
- Strong communication, presentation, analytic and strategic capabilities
