Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Manager / Sr. Manager for AI Process Optimization/Innovation (level commensurate with experience and skillsets) to join our dynamic Marketing Operations team. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to oversee/implement AI-driven and other modernization promotional review processes. Key among those primary responsibilities is the development, guidance, and project management of multiple projects/initiatives. In addition, this role will also support the technical infrastructure, architecture, and governance of our marketing operations platforms within the Oncology franchise.
This role places a premium on cross-functional collaboration to implement new capabilities, gather input/feedback and design requirements from internal customers, and deliver successful changes in a compliant and efficient manner. This role involves developing and executing roadmaps for the advancement of new AI-driven tools, Veeva PromoMats, Digital Asset Management (DAM), and managing all related aspects to drive innovation in marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the modernization of promotional review processes by integrating AI and machine learning technologies to streamline operations.
· Develop and support the architecture and governance of marketing platforms to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the business and adhere to regulatory, compliance and legal guidelines.
· Translate business requirements to technical solutions leveraging strong business acumen across the organization and strong knowledge of pharmaceutical data.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT/Business Information Systems (BIS), Regulatory Affairs, and Product Strategy to drive efficient, compliant processes.
· Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for the advancement of AI applications, PromoMats, and DAM within the marketing operations framework.
· Clearly articulate business processes and requirements to IT/BIS, business partners, and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of system changes with a focus on quality and user experience.
· Perform and oversee rigorous testing protocols to ensure the successful launch of new capabilities and systems.
· Manage projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet strategic objectives and adherence to regulatory, compliance and legal guidelines.
· Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI and marketing technologies to continually improve processes and tools.
· Provide training and support to marketing teams to facilitate the adoption of new systems and processes.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree with a specialization/focus in data science, computer science, or information science required.
· Proven experience in process optimization with a focus on process improvement and technology integration within the pharmaceutical industry.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
· Proven experience with AI applications and AI-related project implementation, promotional material management systems (PromoMats), and digital asset management (DAM).
· Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of the organization and external partners.
· Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance standards.
· Highly analytical and process-oriented mindset with a strong problem-solving ability.
· Experience with software development life cycles and agile methodologies is a plus.
