Job Summary (Primary function)

The Director, Commercial Analytics, Dermatology will be a key strategic partner within Incyte’s US Business Operations team. This role will provide critical analytical support and actionable insights to guide Market Access’s tactical and strategic initiatives, driving the success of Incyte’s Dermatology portfolio. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams, including Market Access (Field Access Managers, Pharmacy Access Managers, Patient Support Services, Trade & Distribution), Product Strategy, Sales Operations, and Finance, to optimize program performance.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)

· Lead in the advancement of data-driven market access strategies as a strategic partner to Market Access, proactively identifying and analyzing emerging industry trends to inform critical business decisions and challenge existing assumptions

· Responsible for ad hoc and recurring insights relating to performance indicators (e.g., conversion and persistency rates, patient services hub and specialty pharmacy performance, and Market Access field performance) via advanced analytics / data mining to drive impactful decision making across all relevant commercial teams, especially Market Access

· Recommend and design actionable, measurable KPIs and diagnostic metrics for key business stakeholders. Coordinate with internal teams to develop, enhance, and refine user-friendly, accurate, and consistent dashboards aligned with business objectives and established KPIs while ensuring the support clear outcomes, actions, and/or prompt follow-up inquiries

· Partner with Market Access functions to evaluate vendor programs, contracts, SOWs and data layouts to ensure data requirements are met to produce internal metrics for reporting and monitoring program ROI and feasibility

· Support Patient Access Services with evaluation of affordability programs, vendor scorecards, and identify interventions to improve program performance and patient access including abandonment, Average Covered Benefit Trends by Region, Pharmacy and Reject Codes and Payer/PBM

· Manage relationship with third-party aggregator CAI, ensuring data quality and facilitating the flow of information between pharmacies, the aggregator, and Incyte. For internal stakeholders and consumption, take primary responsibility for maintaining accurate and reliable reporting on pharmacy metrics and KPIs, while leading initiatives to address evolving business needs.

· Evaluate trends in pharmacy and distribution networks, collaborating with internal teams to support strategies for improving access and coverage across key markets.

· Identify pull through opportunities coinciding with improvements in Payer Access wins by synthesizing insights from commercial copay program, competitive market share trends, and IQVIA Formulary Impact Analyzer

· Monitor and lead communications related to IQVIA and pharmacy-related reporting and support

· Perform 340B trend analysis

· Synthesize diverse internal and external data to proactively and independently identify patterns, events, and trends related to Incyte products and the competitive landscape

· Establish and enforce consistent use of data sharing protocols for internal stakeholders including Market Access, Executive Leadership, Product Strategy, and Finance

· Partner with Sales Operations to identify Market Access opportunities at a regional level

· Collaborate with Finance and Government Reporting to help assess rebate

· Contribute to market access strategy development for pre-commercial and commercial assets

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

· Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

· 2+ years of experience with direct people management

· 7+ years of experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company or relevant experience in biotech/pharma-focused consulting

· 4+ years of pharmaceutical market access experience and subject matter expertise with Health Plans, PBMs, Hospital Systems, Specialty Pharmacies and Healthcare Policy stakeholders with equivalent analytics experience

· Must have Market Access experience; launch experience preferred

· Strong working knowledge of syndicated pharmaceutical data sources, including formulary data sources and claims data sources; hands-on experience working with patient-level data as well as syndicated data sources

· SQL programming or other similar data exploratory skill enabling the ability to work with large, raw data sets preferred

· Strong story telling skills; ability to distill complex information synthesized into concise and impactful messages and communications

· Creative approach to solving problems
