This position is part of the Information Technology SAP Applications department located at one of our sites in either Iowa, California, North Carolina or Colorado. At IDT, we are one global team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Appropriately interpret internal or external business requests and recommend best practices, weighing the need for customization; when justified, will convert requirements into precise Functional-Technical Specifications and shepherd development with follow up unit testing & potential defects/resolution. Comfortable with the technical layers of SAP and accompanying models to support integration.
  • Entrusted to take a lead role on enhancements, as well as participate as a core team member on large projects. Must be versed in typical project management methodologies (schedule, cost, capacity management, transparency of constraints, open issues and risks management, deliveries to milestones, producing documentation in a timely manner, assessing the need for regressive testing, contributing to great solutions, being part of a winning team). May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Have the ability to root-cause and solve incidents in a timely manner to meet SLAs. Ability to lead high profile outage and impact teams to quickly diagnose the issue and determine appropriate solution. Solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Eager to assist and mentor others in incident handling and root-cause analysis. A team player.
  • Responsible for activating, unit testing and sustaining SAP configuration to meet business requirements, controlling standards accompanied by required compliance documentation. Requires depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field.
  • Able to dynamically manage multiple projects and enhancements, comfortable with delegation, driving action plans and hosting daily management calls to ensure momentum to deadlines. Comfortable with pressure situations and handles themselves in a professional and positive manner.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a science, engineering or IT related field, or equivalent level of experience required
  • 8+ years of hands-on IT configuration experience working within the Sales and Distribution Enterprise Structure, including master data, Sales Orgs, Distribution Channels and Divisions, Sales Documents, Business Partners, Item Categories, Scheduled Lines, Condition Types, Pricing Procedures, Variant Configurator, Advanced Billing, Intercompany Drop Ship, Services, and related Authorizations required
  • 8+ years of experience working within the various Tcodes that make up the sales and distribution SAP module required, including working in conjunction with MM/WM, Logistics, and FICO modules.
  • 5+ years of work experience in a post go-live environment, including experience in resolving issues and implementing enhancements.
  • 3+ years working with different automated SD Data Determinations, Scheduling, ATP and/or AATP, Sales Services, and Complaints Processing

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Advanced experience working with ABAP developers to realize customization is essential (identifying BAPIs, RFCs, table joins, user-exits, debug, code read-throughs, etc.)
  • Have the aptitude & resilience to mentor business users through requirements gathering, specification building & root-cause analysis, as needed. Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions. To be successful, the role must be a good partner for their business users and focused on excellent customer service.
  • Proficient working in a SOX and/or Q7-compliant environment.

The salary range or the hourly range for this role is 125,000-135,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
