We have an opening for a talented Business Development and Account Management individual to join our Swiss team in the role of Key Account Director, Life Science HQs.
Your ultimate mission is to identify, drive, and expand our business with selected Life Science Headquarters in Switzerland. To achieve this, your missions will include the following:
Develop a robust, systematic account strategy and proactively engage with key executive business stakeholders across all relevant functions and build deep, content-rich relationships.
Leverage a profound understanding of your clients assets and challenges to shape the value propositions that IQVIA can bring to the table to support them
Focus on client’s key enterprise initiatives, unlock potential for high value projects, bringing IQVIA to the level of key strategic partner
Coordinate sales, business, and service lines at HQ level to ensure a shared vision, a strong client engagement strategy, and effective execution against client needs and revenue targets.
Leverage and coordinate all IQVIA expert teams to come up with the most appropriate and compelling solution for the client.
Lead all strategic and tactical negotiations to close the created business opportunities and overachieve your short- and mid-term revenue targets.
Achieve a high satisfaction level across all client functions with the IQVIA solutions to ensure a continuous positive evolution of client relationship and engagement level with IQVIA.
Serve as important internal voice for your customers, ensuring that IQVIA teams consistently bring the best thinking and highest service quality.
Seasoned professional with previous experience of account management of HQ clients across a diverse portfolio of capabilities
Proven track record of strong, sustainable business development and expansion, relationship-building on executive level and generation of high client satisfaction
Credibility and experience to interact and negotiate with C-level stakeholders, supported by a profound knowledge of key Life Science / Pharma business areas like Drug Development, Pricing, Market Access, Commercial Effectiveness and Launch Excellence
Understanding of the pharmaceutical product commercial lifecycle, from pre-launch phase to loss of exclusivity
Strong consultative selling approach (analytical, structured thinking; issue-based conversation style; creative solution sales approach)
Strong networker at client and internally; capable of pulling the right expert teams together and coordinating them to create top-notch solutions.
Proven track record of managing a balanced pipeline of both short-term tactical opportunities and long-term strategic engagements.
Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable with the aim to always drive positive client satisfaction.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to interpret and present complex concepts.
Strong understanding of financial reporting/forecasting and sales opportunity management
Fluency / Mother tongue in English a must; German a plus
Home base in central Switzerland (preferably Zurich region)
