IQVIA is recruiting for an experienced medical devices Key Account Manager in Norway for a newly created role to expand on existing business and recent tender wins. Our client is a leading medical technology company specializing in providing advanced solutions for digestive health. Their products include systems designed for reliable and comfortable long-term nutritional support, aiming to improve patient outcomes by ensuring safe and effective enteral feeding and gastrointestinal care.

We are looking for someone who has strong knowledge of the Norwegian healthcare system, gained in a similar MedTech key account management role, who has the drive, confidence, and expertise to help shape and grow the business for the gastro product range. You will be part of a wider Nordic team including Nordic Sales Manager, Tender & Contract Specialist, head office-based Marketing support, and KAM colleagues in Denmark, Finland, and Sweden.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new business and growing existing accounts in public and private hospitals nationwide
  • Being the primary sales contact for the assigned hospitals and regularly provide in-service visits and training to accelerate new business
  • Drive the development and implementation of business strategies and tactical plans by hospital purchasing groups to achieve targets
  • Negotiate pricing to ensure contracts are in place and renewed on a timely basis
  • Lead the overall coordination of tenders with hospital purchasing groups, providing insight on competitive offers
  • Set up solid implementation plans for evaluations and coordinate with the internal departments to ensure successful completion of evaluations and conversions
  • Drive education with customers to differentiate products, solutions, and services from competitors

Background and skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Nursing or Science (or equivalent)
  • Several years of experience in medical supplies or medical devices in a hospital and/or alternate care setting; intensive care, gastro, neonatal or paediatrics nutrition, or other relevant therapy area expertise would be ideal but not essential
  • Language fluency in Norwegian, and English is essential.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills
  • Eligible to work full time in Norway
  • Driving license and willingness to travel throughout Norway is required.
