Job Description:

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will encompass responsibilities across business analysis, project management, technical analysis, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that enhance business performance and drive growth, requiring a deep understanding of business processes, data analysis, project management, and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Manager:

  • Project Planning:
    • Develop short-term detailed project plans and high-level long-term roadmaps.
    • Prioritize development items to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Team Management:
    • Indirectly manage the development team, ensuring JIRA is up to date.
    • Collaborate with the change management team to identify gaps and create action plans to address and roll out solutions
  • Technical Collaboration:
    • Work with the tech team to drive their solutions and maintain continual feedback loops.
    • Serve as the point of contact for source data teams.

Business Analyst:

  • Business-Technology Liaison:
    • Act as the liaison between business and tech teams, assessing data sources, guiding the dev team on where to find data, and ensuring proper formatting.
    • Conduct deep dives into data sources to model into IPM (IQVIA Performance Management) data sets.
  • Agile Practices:
    • Attend daily stand-up calls with the development team to gain status updates and address team queries.
    • Ensure JIRA is up to date, perform testing, UAT, and groom user stories.
  • User Support and Training:
    • Provide one-on-one assistance to users, helping them with specific functions such as filtering data and extracting to Excel.
    • Assist users with data queries.
    • Lead generic training sessions for users.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a related role, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, PowerBI) and familiarity with database management systems.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling, requirements gathering, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with finance function and analytics.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in the healthcare industry.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
