Associate Marketing Operations Integration Director

Job Summary:
The Associate Director, Marketing Operations Integration will play a pivotal role within IQVIA’s global Marketing Operations. This position is responsible for leading and managing the seamless integration of marketing operations, technologies and data for newly acquired companies within our Fortune 500 company. This role demands a strategic and operational mindset, to ensure that the acquired company effectively transitions to IQVIA approved marketing platforms and processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marketing operations, M&A marketing systems integration, change management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Integration Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement a comprehensive plan with Enterprise Business Systems and marketing leaders for transitioning and integrating marketing technology and processes of acquired companies, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with corporate strategies and processes.
Define marketing objectives, KPIs, and success metrics for integration initiatives – including tracking and reporting out on resource allocation and cost savings
Marketing Operations & Technology Integration
Manage the integration of marketing technology platforms (CRM, automation tools, analytics) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure a smooth transition of digital assets, websites, and customer data into the corporate ecosystem.
Training and Support: Deliver training programs for marketing teams on new systems and technologies, ensuring smooth adoption and utilization.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements from acquisition audits to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in marketing operations across the enterprise.
Data Management: Oversee data migration and ensure data integrity across all marketing systems during and after integrations. – including compliance for GDPR and local direct marketing regulations at the country level.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with enterprise marketing, product managers, corporate CRM and technology teams and brand and digital teams to harmonize marketing system and campaigns integration.
Work closely with corporate integration and technical teams to ensure marketing considerations are prioritized in post-acquisition planning.
Change Management & Communications
Develop internal and external collaboration plans for stakeholders to manage marketing operations transitions effectively.
Lead change management initiatives to ensure alignment with stakeholders and employees of acquired companies.
Provide guidance and training to the marketing teams of acquired company marketing teams on corporate marketing processes, technology and best practices.
Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Track, measure, and report on integration performance, ensuring continuous optimization.
Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities within the integration process and recommend solutions.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in M&A marketing operations integration.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
8+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on operations, M&A integration or corporate marketing in a large enterprise.
Proven experience in integration strategy, change management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple integrations simultaneously.
Expertise in marketing technology (CRM, automation, analytics) and digital marketing best practices.
Must be fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a Fortune 500 or large multinational organization.
Familiarity with enterprise M&A processes and post-merger integration strategies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess marketing performance and ROI.
Experience with Salesforce CRM, Oracle Eloqua, Sitecore CMS, Khoros
