The company’s initial product (Kerecis Wound) has been approved by the FDA and is being marketed in the U.S. and several international markets. Kerecis has in the last two years transitioned from being a research and development company into commercialization and is experiencing rapid growth and outstanding patient results.
The Regenerative Burn & Trauma Specialist is responsible for working cross-functionally within the assigned Region / Representative to sell Kerecis to the assigned quota, to create effective local sales strategies and physician training programs that position Kerecis SurgiBind and Kerecis GraftGuide OR competitively in the market and increase sales.
The Specialist’s focus is on facilitating access and competence to surgical accounts by bringing leadership and best practices for acquiring and managing new surgical users. They provide expertise in positioning the product among competition and experience in surgical usage of Kerecis products. The Specialist will work closely with the assigned field sales team to educate them on proper usage and promotion of Kerecis Surgical products. The Specialist will have assigned accounts, overlapping representatives, attend product applications and provide education. This is a full-time position.
The Regenerative Burn & Trauma Specialist is based out of their home office and reports to the applicable Regenerative Surgical Regional Director.
Essential Functions
- Position Kerecis competitively in the Surgical (Foot & Ankle, Plastic, General & Burn and Trauma surgery) market and increase sales
- Develop, sell, in-service Kerecis Surgical accounts within the assigned Region / Representatives of the United States of America, and other areas of the United States, as necessary
- Educate the (Foot & Ankle, Plastic, General & Trauma surgery) community on the benefits of Kerecis.
- Attend Surgical related meetings while working with the assigned local representative
- Manage approved operating budget per month
- Travel as necessary to all assigned targeted Surgical accounts for in-servicing, education and applications within the assigned geography independently or with the local representative
- Manage the ordering process and inventory for assigned Surgical accounts
- Work with the Medical Affairs team to develop a Surgical (Foot & Ankle, Plastic, General & Trauma surgery) Advisory Committee, Surgical Center of Excellence, Surgical KOL Development, Surgical Abstracts / Studies and other related initiatives
- Assist in the training and development of Kerecis Business Development Managers to be proficient in surgical product applications
- Assist the marketing and sales leadership teams to develop a successful Surgical sales strategy
- Manage the established Surgical business Sales Quota within the region
