The Cloud Infrastructure Support Technician, IT Operations will join our Digital Business Technology & Data Analytics team and play a key role in helping Kymanox optimize its computing environment’s performance and security and supporting its user community. The Cloud Infrastructure Support Technician is primarily tasked administration of various tools within Kymanox’s Microsoft environment and supporting end users with their various support needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage Kymanox’s Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environment, configuring and maintaining user accounts, security groups and licenses and monitoring performance and security across the cloud tenant and Kymanox endpoints.
  • Provide technical support to end users including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues and assisting users with Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud-based services and applications.
  • Document Technical Procedures and Solutions.
  • Collaborate with Kymanox’s full Digital Team and assist with the implementation of new technologies and making improvements to existing systems.
  • Maintain IT Asset Inventory and Software Licenses.
Educational Background:
  • The candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Information Systems, Network Administration or related field of study.
  • Certification or training in Microsoft Azure Administration, Microsoft 365 Administration, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ preferred but not required.
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on administration of a Microsoft 365/Azure cloud environment.
  • Experience with administration and management of Microsoft Licensing.
  • Experience with administration of Microsoft Azure, including EntraID, InTune, and Defender. Experience in a hybrid Active Directory environment is a plus.
  • Experience supporting end users with hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Experience with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based services and applications within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Experience with performance monitoring and security, including implementation and deployment of system updates and patches as necessary.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the suite of Microsoft applications.
  • Experience participating in deployment projects related to Microsoft infrastructure and user equipment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, with a focus on preventing recurrence of issues found.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills, both written and verbal, to effectively assist end-users and document procedures.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing high-quality support and solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure, including user management, security, cloud infrastructure administration, and application support.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
  • Knowledge of IT security principles, frameworks, and best practices, including data protection and compliance.
  • Willingness to learn and stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with an focus on scalability.
Travel:
Up to 5% remote travel domestically and internationally is possible.

Compensation:
Base salary is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and other intangibles evident during the interview process – as well as market conditions. Eligible for incentive program after 90 days of outstanding work.
