The Sr Change Management Analyst position is responsible for managing and implementing PLM changes in a fast-paced Instrument Operation team that is supporting Cepheid’s medical diagnostic instrument platforms. The primary responsibilities will be focused on change management policies, processes, standard work, data integrity, compliance, system administration and Operation support. The role requires a quick turnaround time and providing key feedback to the stakeholder(s).

This position is part of the Instrument team and will be located on-site in our Sunnyvale, CA facility. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Meticulously and timely lead the Product lifecycle changes of ECO management (change plan, change request, compliance of policy), review/create/configure BOM structuring, and user and supplier maintenance
  • Analyze collected data and present results with recommendations for how to increase efficiency of ECO cycle time
  • Meticulously and timely lead the Product lifecycle changes of ECO management, BOM structuring, and user and supplier maintenance
  • Work closely within the Engineering team on exploration of product and/or process problems issue to create and resolve Change Orders and implement materials management modifications (identify the impact of changes, material planning, and disposition)
  • Work closely with Supply Chain Operations and Supplier Quality Engineering to reconcile part/supplier qualification status to approved supplier list and PLM documentation

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or other applicable major with 3+ years of related work experience OR Master’s degree in the field with 1+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience leading document support team to manage engineering request for change order implementation (change requests, change orders, and notifications)
  • Experience in creating/configuring/analyzing BOM structuring product data, and specification ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies
  • Must have strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management experience software experience: Agile / Windchill / Arena / SAP / Oracle
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with and influence cross-functional teams

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience and knowledge of ISO/FDA-regulated industry
  • Experience in process improvement within the change management process
  • Experience of monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on performance metrics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Medical Products industry experience

The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
