We are currently seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to work 3rd shift (10:30 PM-7:00 AM/Mon-Fri) who will be responsible for daily work tasks, maintenance routines, repairs and calibrations to prolong the useful life and optimize the efficiency of production equipment.
This position is part of the Plastics Maintenance Team located in Indianapolis, Indiana and will be an onsite position.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventative, general, and emergency maintenance on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and control systems, with a focus on troubleshooting DCS and electrical systems.
- Equipment Calibration and Data Entry: Maintain and calibrate equipment as per instructions and procedures, ensuring accurate computer data entry with attention to detail.
- Team Collaboration and Safety Compliance: Participate in team meetings for planning and problem-solving, while adhering to safety policies, including PPE use, tool safety, lock-out-tag-out, and good housekeeping practices.
The essential requirements for the job include:
- Industrial Maintenance: 3+ years in maintenance, preferably in plastics/medical devices with a focus on MCC’s, PLC’s, DCS, VFD’s, motor starters, and voltages up to 480V.
- Machining Skills: Proficient in machining and manual measuring for precision and quality in production and skilled in adjusting automation systems and reliable machine operations.
- Robotic Skills: Basic robot programming, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and integration with production lines.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Strong communication, time management, organizational, problem-solving
- Medical industry or machinery relocation and installation experience
- Welding and Fabrication
