Job Summary
Medpace is growing quickly, and we are seeking a remote-based Clinical Research Associate (CRA) Manager to join our Clinical Monitoring team in Canada. The CRA Manager plays a key role in the clinical trial management process at Medpace. This position will report into a Senior CRA Manager, and new manager training and mentoring will be provided. Responsibilities
- Line management of Clinical Research Associates (CRAs);
- Recruitment, initial and continued training and development of CRAs;
- Oversight and Management of CRAs to ensure CRAs are meeting expectations of core monitoring responsibilities;
- Tracking and management of CRA resourcing/allocation of assignments;
- Manage turnover and retention of CRAs to meet company objectives;
- Act as a contact for Canada, including feasibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years pharmaceutical industry experience (clinical monitoring and/or study/line management), including 4 years as a CRA;
- Advanced knowledge of Good Clinical Practice;
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and motivational skills;
- Bilingual in English and French;
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English and French;
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft® Office software;
- Occasional travel for evaluation of CRAs (approximately 15-25%); and
- This position is remote-based.
