Job Summary

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving the NGS Sequencing business and MGI automation in CEE in the research and private market (non-IVD). This position will be responsible for developing sales strategies and tactics that achieve the revenue goals of the assigned region through channel sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop distributors, maintain markets, and existent customers.
  • Explore new markets and define strategies for increasing sales on the entire portfolio, including new product launches.
  • Management of the Distributor Portal, updating distributors with the product, marketing and sales information, availability, competitive activity, sales positioning, best practices, and distributor training plans.
  • Develop and maintain new product distribution marketing plans and introduction dates for the partners.
  • Develop and implement regional marketing initiatives related to distributors' activities, including marketing campaigns, conferences, webinars, and lead generation activities.
  • Attend distributor business reviews, and other activities to support growth. Coordinate distributor monthly calls and training.
  • Oversee distributors' online websites and coordinate with PM to ensure they are updated and contain accurate content.
  • Manage all processes included in MGI CRM, and Manage sales area forecast.
  • Managing the selected distributors' key accounts' quarterly sales fulfilments, marketing, and FAS support and coordination.
  • Execute internal standardized processes around current and new partnerships.
  • Work closely and coordinate with the Channel Manager, Marketing, Legal, Sales, Service, and Support functions to leverage and develop long-standing relationships with partners.
  • Routinely work with the region on product strategy execution.
  • Research new tools and techniques for increasing MGI awareness and growing mindshare and product placement within the distributor channel.
  • Handle confidential information: Manage and maintain sensitive and confidential information, ensuring it is handled securely and in compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information, including personnel matters, legal documents, financial data, contracts, and other proprietary information.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or above in Genetics, Molecular Biology Bioinformatics, or related subject. With NGS academic training or background or work experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of Sales experience in the Life Science Capex industry or the NGS market.
  • Prior field experience supporting customers and experience with people management are a plus.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills are required.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel 30%, if required
  • English written and verbal communication and training/presentation skills are a must, other languages preferred.
