Moderna is looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to join its Canadian Commercial team as the Pharmacy & Health Partnerships Lead. This newly crafted, high-impact position is central to enhancing national access, uptake, and preference for Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine portfolio.
In this role, you will spearhead pharmacy and healthcare professional engagement strategies, drawing on your deep knowledge of the Canadian vaccination ecosystem. You’ll work at the intersection of innovation and public health, influencing vaccination delivery through partnerships with pharmacy chains, HCPs, and public health authorities. Here’s What You’ll Do
Your key responsibilities will be:
Leading the national engagement strategy for pharmacy and HCP partners to drive vaccination uptake and brand growth.
Analyzing public health needs and vaccination behaviors to develop targeted partnership approaches.
Collaborating cross-functionally with internal and global teams to adapt offerings and contracting models for the Canadian market.
Driving performance execution across Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine portfolio within the pharmacy and healthcare sectors.
Managing contracting, supply planning, and commercial execution in partnership with internal stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Building strategic, trust-based relationships with pharmacy chains, physicians, nurses, and public health officials.
Acting as the voice of pharmacy and HCP partners within Moderna to inform commercial and operational strategies.
Co-designing scalable, insight-driven initiatives with partners that support public health and business objectives.
Leading pull-through and customer engagement initiatives to ensure best-in-class customer experience.
Coordinating with cross-functional teams including marketing, market access, medical, and operations.

Working across a complex and evolving ecosystem, you'll need to quickly absorb insights from pharmacy leaders, HCPs, and public health stakeholders. Your ability to translate those learnings into action — and use tools like Generative AI to amplify those insights — will be critical to driving success at speed and scale.
What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)
Degree in Pharmacy (preferred) or deep experience in pharmacy strategy/operations and/or public health program delivery
10+ years of experience in innovative pharmaceutical brand management and/or customer-facing roles, with a strong track record of driving impact
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Deep understanding of how to build partnerships and influence decision-makers across pharmacy, healthcare professionals, and public health organizations
Experience leading complex projects and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
Strong grasp of regulatory considerations in commercial and marketing activities
Hands-on experience with digital tools and innovative channels to engage healthcare customers
Collaborative leader who builds trust, influences without authority, and works cross-functionally with ease
Comfortable with ambiguity; takes initiative, solves problems creatively, and drives forward with minimal direction
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate conflict constructively and build sustainable relationships
