Summary
Position Highlights
The Senior Marketing Account Strategist supports and executes Moffitt's demand generation and content marketing strategy deliverables. The Senior Marketing Account Strategist plans, develops, initiates, and implements innovative marketing plans for Moffitt service lines and departments. This position is also responsible for project leadership and works to focus demand generation resources on high impact areas as the organization’s goals dictate. The Senior Marketing Account Strategist monitors project groups to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization. This position is responsible for informing team members of the project goals, setting strategy and monitoring progress towards project success.
The Senior Marketing Account Strategist works closely with the demand generation coordinators. Essential functions include, supporting the overall strategic marketing strategy of Moffitt Cancer Center, Moffitt Medical Group, Moffitt satellites/partners and associated clinical service lines to consumers, physicians and other key stakeholders primarily in the Tampa and Central Florida Designated Market Areas and throughout the State of Florida to drive new patient volume and retain existing patient volume. The Senior Marketing Account Strategist should possess knowledge of each program and understanding of priorities and differentiators to tailor marketing platforms and identify opportunities to market those entities.
The Senior Marketing Account Strategist leads paid social and native initiatives and partners with the manager for Thought Leadership efforts. The Senior Marketing Account Strategist leads the clinical outreach for production efforts and physician/patient recruitment. Manages vendor relationships for key projects. Leads communications with team members regarding initial/ongoing project status. The Senior Marketing Account Strategist leverages the brand, media campaign, field outreach, and digital content strategy for ongoing planning, development and execution for multiple channels to include but not limited to print, collateral, broadcast, email, digital advertising, paid social, SEO, provider relationship building, community outreach, internal communications, events and emerging media.
This Senior Marketing Account Strategist supports Moffitt's brand and guidelines to maximize identity in the Center and marketplace. This position works closely with internal clients, agencies and partners to define project/program requirements, offer strategic guidance, develop marketing strategy and an executional deliverable schedule, as well as reporting. This role will effectively manage the project’s marketing and communicate with the client as well as the channel owning teams through briefing, production approval and post-production.
Responsibilities:
- Leads demand generation projects, including select growth initiatives from end to end.
- Develops strategy, plans and implements targeted marketing tactics for consumer and physician marketing strategies for effective market reach and volume generation.
- Prepares creative briefs, production schedules and meets deadlines following appropriate approval processes. Works closely with brand management to ensures brand guidelines are being accurately followed in various instances.
- Develops, executes and maintain strong content deliverables and distributes to the full team for use in all channels.
- Develops actionable insights from data analysis to refine demand generation strategies and tactics.
Credentials and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration or related field required.
- Minimum eight (8) years advertising, marketing or communications in a corporate or agency environment, inclusive of three (3) years project management, and/or project lead experience.
- Account Management experience in marketing/communications.
- Familiarity with campaign and brand design concepts.
- Strong leadership, organizational and planning skills.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Preferred Five (5) years of healthcare experience and campaign management.
- Ability to work with Microsoft Suite, Adove Suite, Project Management Systems, Email Management or Marketing Automation platforms such as Exact Target, Pardot and Marketo.
- Knowledge of creative concept creation and graphic design software such as In Design.
