Summary
Launch your impactful career as a Research Animal Care Technician Associate at the cutting-edge Comparative Medicine Core (CMC) of Moffitt Cancer Center. The Animal Research Technician Associate is an entry-level position that builds skills in providing husbandry and care to a variety of laboratory animals. The CMC plays a vital role in overseeing and enhancing Moffitt's animal research and technical support. Our Ideal Candidate will have:
• A High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of two (2) years of animal care-related experience.
o With an associate or bachelor’s degree, a minimum of a year of animal care-related experience is needed.
• The ability to provide weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
Responsibilities:
• As a ReACT Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper care and maintenance of the animals in our facility.
• We need someone who performs husbandry and health/welfare checks for all species on campus.
