Position Summary for the Sr Leader DBS China:

Reporting to Cytiva's global DBS Leader (solid line) and China's Cytiva President (dotted line), the Sr Leader DBS China will be a key member of the senior management team responsible for leading the strategy design/implementation of DBS to support Cytiva's continued success in driving innovation and commercial execution in China. This executive will have the overall responsibility of identifying and leading the roadmap that will allow Cytiva China to meet th Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and own the Cytiva China DBS strategy and DBS deployment.
  • Functional Engines: Drive organic growth and operational excellence through functional engines and OpCo level deployment of initiatives driving improvements to architect the CVDs across the enterprise.
  • Thoughtful deployment of DBS Tools: Drive commercial/innovation and operations process adherence and ensures organization is applying problem solving thinking to accelerate core growth. Deploy DBS Tools and drive cross-departmental influence to raise awareness and develop process.
  • Teach DBS and Nurture DBS Culture: Lead complex cross functional change initiatives and apply the Change Management framework learnings to drive DBS culture and methodologies across the full organization.
  • Strategy and Policy Deployment: Leverage the Policy Deployment process to identify improvements at a strategic level and work with functional leaders to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Policy Deployment (PD) initiatives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • BA/BS or equivalent in business, life science, engineering. MBA preferred.
  • Long standing years of (10 years+) experience in Commercial, Operations, or Engineering, preferably in more than one area with an emphasis on process improvements. May accept less experience with a higher degree of internal Danaher experience.
  • Multiple years (3-5+) of leadership experience in managing teams globally.
  • Several years (2 years +) experience within scientific industry preferred.
  • Previous experience in continuous improvement (e.g. DBS, TPS, or other methodology) preferred.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Change management competency.
  • Effective coaching and mentoring
  • Strong group facilitation, team building and ability to build consensus.
