The Financial leader is responsible for providing overall financial oversight to the Saudi operations and should have the intellect to add value beyond simply reporting the monthly numbers, should be able to guide operational decision-making through financial input and create value through expertise and reflects complete sense of ownership.

The individual would have the opportunity to:

• Meet the requirements of joint venture and ensure internal management reporting needs are met through periodical reporting process while maintaining thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure across SAP.
• Deliver timely and accurate monthly close, in accordance with US GAAP while ensuring that processes and suitable monitoring procedures are in place to underpin the integrity of the reported financials. Also Support shared services team (eg obsolescence reports, asset impairment review processes, etc) to lead to accurate close .
• Support the overall budgeting process, review financial operating results and lead the local organisation to drive action to ensure cost containment and drive profit.
• Leads local statutory audits to see they are closed by due dates reporting as well other required audits such as IKTVA are completed per business needs. Also maintain relationship with the banking partners and ensure that any management changes are updated with the corporate bankers.
• Ensure complete compliance with local laws to ensure timely and accurate filings for VAT, Withholding Tax and Corporate Tax are done.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) with 7-10 Years of experience preferably with 3-5 years in a multinational joint venture.
• Strong accounting ability; financial reporting, budgeting & P&L management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and Saudi Tax Laws covering VAT, Withholding Tax and Zakat.
• Working in shared services environment.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Advanced Excel skills and systems knowledge covering SAP and Onestream.

Candidate should be well versed in English & Arabic, both verbal and written.
